Mediation

I love creating and taking up space, it's true. I also get an almost infinite pleasure out of listening to others express themselves about what they do. This has led me to give a voice to people in different ways. Podcasts, video documentaries, an outsider's view of a show, a project in partnership with the young people of a college... Here are the major projects of the people I've enjoyed following and highlighting.

Sweep podcast

Sweep is an audio format. A podcast, as they say. Its aim is to give a voice to hip-hop dancers in a secure, lengthy setting that allows us to delve deeply into the intimacy and philosophy of these artists and players. Over the past 3 years, my friend Mathys and I have engaged in some 70 conversations with French-speaking artists from our milieu. The purpose of this archive is to create a library of the wealth of knowledge that is often only passed on orally. Happy listening!

Mount

Mont is a documentary that follows the journey of a director and the creative process of a fascinating company. In a dreamlike universe, Mont brings together on stage eight dancers, circus artists and musicians who embody hybrid, chimerical characters. The aim of this adventure is to make this world real. For several years, I followed Rachel Cazenave and her team, immersing myself in the intimacy and questioning that such a process raises. How do they think? How do they relate? How do they create?

You + me = two?

Over the course of 2023-2024, Cie des corps jetés will be meeting two classes from Collège Fernand Léger in Saint Martin d'Hères to pursue the issues raised in the Viscum duo. Middle school is the time when we often experience our first passions in relationships, both amorous and friendly, which later shape our relationship with others. I'm setting off to meet these two classes, to build together, through interviews and movement classes, a show that will open up these questions and enable us to educate ourselves together in more sensitive and intelligent ways of relating.
